  1. Take a still pan add water, salt and haldi. Heat a pan and boil water. Add urad daal. Boil 15-20 mints until it becomes 80% cook. Remove the froth.
  2. Now drain it remove water.
  3. Heat a oil in a pan. Add all ingredients (for tadka)
  4. Add onion cook till it becomes brown. Add tomato. Cook for 5 mints.Add all other ingredients (according to above list)
  5. Add urad daal. Stir well.cook 5-6 mints.
  6. Place a live charcoal over a foil. Keep it on daal.Drizzle some ghee over it.cover with lid and simmer on low flame for 4-5 mints.when down remove charcoal with foil.
  7. Now heat 2 tbs oil. Add some vertical chopped chillies and kashmiri red chilli powder.pour this tadka on daal before serving.Add some lemon juice.
  8. Daal mash is ready
