Ingredients and spices that need to be Prepare to make Air fryer Haldiram Style Mini Chana Dal Samosa:
- For the Dough:
- 2 Cups All-purpose Flour (Maida)
- 1/2 tsp Carom seeds (Ajwain)
- to taste salt
- 1/4 Cup Ghee (Or Oil)
- For Stuffing:
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 Cup Fried chana dal (Or Mung Dal)
- 1/2 Cup Besan Gathiya (or Besan Sev or Roasted Besan)
- 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1/2 tbsp Cumin-coriander powder
- 1 tsp Crushed Coriander seeds
- 1/4 tsp Clove powder
- 1/4 tsp Cinnamon powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/4 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
- 1 tsp fennel seeds
- 3 tsp Sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp Oil
- Pinch Asofetida
- 1/2 cup Sweet Tamarind chutney (Instead of Tamarind chutney you can take 1/4 cup tamarind pulp and mix 1/2 cup Jaggery & salt to taste)
- 1/4 cup water
- to taste salt
- as required some cashews & Kismis (Optional)
Instructions to make to make Air fryer Haldiram Style Mini Chana Dal Samosa
- Mix flour, ghee, salt, water and knead the stiff dough
- Once the dough is ready, let it rest for 20 Mins
- Now grind chana dal and besan sev
- Keep that mixture aside
- Mix all the spice mentioned above and keep it aside
- Into a pan add 1 tbsp oil then add Hing
- Now add prepared spices mix and sev mixture
- Now add tamarind sweet chutney
- Cook until it forms a dough ball
- Let it cool down completely
- Make small balls out of the dough
- Roll it and make section in to two for samosas

- Add the mixture and rol samosa
- Place samosa into the air fryer basket
- Spray some oil and bake for 12 Mins @380F
- If you want to deep fry then deep fry all the samosas
